Bacon Sushi

Ingredients

  • 1 Sliced Avocado
  • 2 Thinly Sliced carrots
  • 2 Thinly Sliced cucumbers
  • 4 oz of Cream Cheese (needs to be softened before use) 
  • 6 Slices of Bacon
  • Sesame Seeds

Preheat your oven to 400. Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a cooling cake over it. Bake the bacon for 12 minutes until it’s very slightly crisp, but can still be used to roll up the other items. Cut the carrots, cucumbers and avocado so that they are thinly sliced and about the same width of bacon. Let the bacon cool, then spread the cream cheese on one side of each slice. Place vegetables on each and then roll up tight, using the cream cheese as a binding agent. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy! 

Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 4 Bell Peppers Cut In Half
  • 16 oz. Cremini Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1.5 lbs Sirloin Steak (Slice in thin strips)
  • 16 Slices Provolone Cheese
  • Parsley

Bake the peppers for 30 minutes at 325 degrees until they are nice and tender. While this is ongoing, heat the oil and start to cook the onions, mushrooms over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Once they are soft, add the steak, salt, pepper and italian seasoning. Cook this for another 3 minutes or so. Place a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom of each pepper, fill with the steak mixture and then place another slice on top. Broil for around 3 minutes and then garnish with parsley!
